Appearance on Land: Mercury looks pretty normal for the most part. Everywhere he has tattoos though (base of neck, left arm, down his side from his ribs to his left ankle) has fish-like, blue-shaded scaling. His ears have also been replaced with Vaporeon-like ears.

Appearance in Water/When Wet: Mercury's skin takes on a bluer tinge and his legs are replaced with a leafy sea dragon-like tail. From the elbow down, his arms have the same blue scaling that sits under his tattoos and his hands have a more claw-like appearance.

[ Laughing and totally oblivious to the fact that the wetness of the sash is changing him into a much more mer-looking form. ]

Jeez, that's kind of cold.

It is not so bad once you are in it.

[not going to comment on his looks, just letting him figure it out]

I'll take your word for it, though I was thinking about a swim at some point.

[ Okay reaching up to take off the blindfold. ]

Haaah, I guess so... well that does answer that question.

[ Shrugging off his jacket so he doesn't get weighed down by it before taking her hand to slide himself in. ]

[and gliding back to give him room, still holding on as a precaution, though]

See? For now, it suits us.

[ Getting his bearings, but it doesn't take him too long to do so. ]

Ah, this is a little more comfortable.

[ Stretching his- fins so to speak, sinking lower as he gets more comfortable. ]

[ No okay that's a dumb question he's just. Going to go ahead and try ducking his head underwater and amaze at not drowning. ]

It’s spectacular, isn’t it? I am happy to have gotten this moment, to live somewhere else.

It's certainly an experience I don't think I'll ever have again.
