Appearance on Land: Mercury looks pretty normal for the most part. Everywhere he has tattoos though (base of neck, left arm, down his side from his ribs to his left ankle) has fish-like, blue-shaded scaling. His ears have also been replaced with Vaporeon-like ears.

Appearance in Water/When Wet: Mercury's skin takes on a bluer tinge and his legs are replaced with a leafy sea dragon-like tail. From the elbow down, his arms have the same blue scaling that sits under his tattoos and his hands have a more claw-like appearance.

[ Okay, good, because he's leaning down to kiss Skylark, who can probably feel something slipping out of his throat as he does even though it's a closed mouth kiss. ]

[grabbing Mercury and pulling away from the kiss, pushing him away]

[he can't yell at him so he's glaring. and swinging at Mercury again, though he's too annoyed to be particularly accurate about it]

[ Putting up a hand to catch it, and with all the HSS around, he does at least manage to keep it from breaking anything. ]

how strong is your grip, Mercury? because he's tugging at it]

[ Surprisingly strong, actually, which is a surprise to him too. He's gonna use that to tug Skylark in, and hopefully off balancing him enough that he can try and steal another kiss to give him back his voice before letting go. ]

[distracted by Mercury's sudden strength long enough for Mercury to pull him back in—]

and just going to bite down hard on Mercury's lip, probably drawing blood]

[ PLEASE STOP MAKING ME BLEED. ]

[ H... Honestly he deserves this, wincing at the bite and trying to jerk his head back as he lets go. ]

[dropping one tonfa to grab him by the collar, letting him pull away from the kiss, but keeping him really close to his face, voice dangerously low]

[ I regret so many things. Thinking fast. ]

[... actually licking his own lips of the blood he drew from the bite]
